ESL 1861.02.20 That Mr G.A. Stretton be appointed Assistant Secretary for three months for the sum of £12.12 for that period
ESL 1861.05.01 Mr Stretton’s engagement to cease on the 6th May.
ESL 1864.01.12 Letter from Mr Stretton was read, giving the names of the Members who had retired from the Society during the last year.

AI. 1900.05.15 Collector. The Secretary pointed out that under the present financial conditions of the Institute, it was not advisable to continue to employ a Collector.
The Treasurer discussed the position of Mr Stretton and moved that the matter be referred to the Executive Committee; Mr Hartland moved as an amendment that the matter be considered by the Council at once. The amendment was seconded by the Secretary and carried. The President moved that the employment of Mr Stretton as Collector determine at the expiration of the current year
AI 1900.06.12 The Treasurer laid before the Council a letter from Mr Stretton in regard to the termination of his appointment as Collector; and he moved that the resolution to terminate his appointment be rescinded. Mr Rudler seconded, and on a division the motion was lost.
