Daniel Brooke Robertson, in the Consular Service since 1843, had been Vice-Consul at Shanghai from June 1844 to 1852, when he became Consul at Amoy
Member of the Athenaeum club from 1873
Sir Daniel Brooke Robertson was born in 1810.2 He was the son of Daniel Robertson and Amelia Helen Clarke.2 He married Ellen Nutter Aingell on 15 October 1839.2 He died on 27 March 1881 at 15 Arlington Street, Piccadilly, London, England.2
