Dear Colonel,
At the meeting of the Council of the London Anthropological Society held last night it was resolved to recommend to a Special General Meeting to be held on 10th Dec. that the Society should be dissolved at the end of the year.
My object in writing this letter is to ask you whether in the event of that recommendation being accepted the Institute will be prepared to elect as Members all and any of the Fellows of the Society who shall signify in writing their desire to be elected Members of the Institute.
I am dear Colonel, yours very truly
