1937.10.19 As Mr Alan H.A. Wilson of Haiti could not find a proposer from the list of Fellows, it was resolved to ask Prof. Herskovitz if he knew anything about him.
1937.11.24 A favourable reply having been received from Prof. George E. Simpson with reference to Mr Alan H.A. Wilson, the Council approved of the President’s action in signing his nomination form by amending the nomination by deleting the words ‘personal knowledge’.
