Johan Koren Birth 6th July 1809, Birthplace: Bergen; Death 3rd October 1885 , Place of death : Bergen <br />Johan Koren was the first curator hired by the Bergen Museum. At that time, the museum's collections in several areas characterized as unprecedented in North European context. Along with DC Danielssen he published a number of scientific works of marine invertebrates. He contributed significantly to bringing Christies naturaliekabinett forward to a significant natural science museum. <br />
