Member<br />death noted in the report of the council for 1907: The Reverend Lorimer Fison, who died on December 29th, was well-known as an active contributor to Australasian anthropology. After some years of missionary work in Fiji he went to Australia, where the rest of his life was spent. He was a contributor to Morgan's Systems of Consanguinity, and subsequently contributed a number of papers to the Institute's Journal, some in collaboration with Mr. A. W. Howitt. He was also the author, with Mr. Howitt, of Kamilaroi and Kurnai, and shortly before his death had produced Tales from Old Fiji.
