Resolved further that the before-mentioned committee consist of Mr Wake, Mr Villin, Dr Beigel and Mr Cox.<br />The Director gave notice that at the next Council meeting he should move:<br />That this Council censures Mr Henry Brookes for his conduct in making unfounded charges in printed and written communication and in speeches against Members of this Council; and that, until such charges be withdrawn and apologised for, Mr Brookes be requested not to attend the Council.<br />1868.12.15 The resignation of Mr Henry Brookes from the Council was announced and the reply written by the Secretary to Mr Brookes was adopted.<br />
