Born at Finedon on 23rd November 1882 to William and Catherine Clark and was christened at St Mary’s Parish Church, Finedon on 14th January 1883. Later, his parents lived at 33 Crabb Street, Rushden. George was formerly employed by the late Mr G Miller, of Rushden. He enlisted at Earlstown, Lancashire, in October1916, and died of Typhoid Fever at Baghdad on the 5th May 1918.
