Neurological specialist to Ministry of Pensions

Maurice Beresford Wright was born on 30 January 1872.2 He was the son of Philip Wright and Alice Elizabeth Bury.2 He married Elizabeth Eleanor Plumptre, daughter of John Bridges Plumptre and Elizabeth Wright, on 12 November 1902.1 He died in 1951.1
He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)2 He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, in 1897 with a Master of Surgery (C.M.)2 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Medical Corps.2 He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, in 1906 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 He lived at The Braie, Lower Bourne, Farnham, Surrey, EnglandG.2
