Thomas Humfrey Vines was the son of Reverend T. H. Vines.2 He married Philadelphia Anna Stuart-Menteth, daughter of Sir James Stuart-Menteth of Closeburn, 3rd Bt. and Helen Gertrude Fay, on 22 February 1906.1 He died on 14 July 1922.1
