It was whilst working on the coast sections that I had the privilege of introducing to him J. D. Solomon at that time a Cambridge undergraduate, a meeting of the utmost importance for Norfolk geology, for Dr. Solomon later devoted himself to a research on the coastal glacial deposits, a research carried out in Professor Boswell’s laboratory at the Imperial College of Science.
