death noted in the report of the council for 1912: In Mr. John Gray the Institute has suffered a very severe loss. At the time of his death he held the post of Hon. Treasurer,t o which he had been elected in 1904. An obituary notice has already appeared in Man, 1912, 44, but the Council wish once more to record their deep sense of gratitude for the great service that he rendered to the Institute during his eight years of office.
