House Notes

death noted at annual meeting 28 May 1856: Drs Moore and Rothman were amongst the earliest members of the Society. It is true that neither of them contributed directly to the advancement of Ethnology by means of original researches, but being men of education and well informed on the subject, they were valuable members of the Society and contributed to the diffusion of a knowledge of Ethnology in their respective circles in society.
