Wallburst Manor: Rigg had the house rebuilt (fn. 136) in sandstone in 1890, (fn. 137) owned 169 a. in 1910, (fn. 138) and died in 1924. (fn. 139) His widow was living there in 1930, and the house was apparently sold in 1936 to Allan Gordon-Smith (knighted 1939, d. 1951).
