Jeffcott, John Moore, born July 6th, 18 16. Left April 15th, 1834. Son of J. Jeffcott, M.D., Castletown, I.O.M. Admitted to Manx Bar, 1839. M.H.K. 1855. High Bailiff of Castletown, 1866. M.H.K. for Castletown. 1867-1874 and 1881. F.R.H.S.. F.E.S., M.A. I. Antiquarian and Archaeologist. Drew up and illustrated the Report of I.O.M. Archaeological Commission. Died May 17th. 1892, at Castletown, I.O.M.
