1894.01.23 The Secretary reported that Mr Sclater was prepared to make application to the Council of the Zoological Society to allow Mr Doubleday to act as to the Institute. His duties to consist of attending and carrying out the instructions of the officials of the Institute on three days in each week from 2 o’c to 5 o’c. Also to attend all evening meetings. the appointment to be on trial for three months, and subsequently terminable by three months notice on either side. The remuneration to be paid to the Zoological Society at the rate of £40 per annum. The Secretary was instructed to carry out the arrangement
1894.06.12 It was proposed, seconded and resolved that Mr Doubleday be appointed Librarian from the 1st of October next at a salary of £25.0.0 per annum to attend on three days in the week for two hours after the 5 o’c pm and at all evening meetings
1896.06.09 A letter was read from Mr Doubleday giving notice that his engagement with the Institute would terminate at the end of the year.
