James C. Goodwin (1902-1953) was a physician who practised in Toronto, Ontario during the first half of the twentieth century.

James C. Goodwin was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario. After graduating from the Medical School at the University of Toronto in 1928, he practised Obstetrics and Gynecology at Toronto General Hospital and became a teaching associate of the University of Toronto Medical School. Goodwin was a founder and first secretary of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Canada. He also obtained an MA in anthropology from the University of Toronto in 1930.
