Notes From Elsewhere

T.L. Woo BA, National South Eastern University, Nanking. MA, Columbia University, NY

Ting-Liang Woo studied statistics with Karl Pearson between 1927 and 1928 at UCL, received his Ph.D. Degree in Statistics in 1928, and continued with his study in anthropology in London until 1935. Limited information indicates that Woo might have studied anthropology under Sir John Linton Myres (1869-1954) at Oxford University during that period. [Qian Wang via email Jan. 2020]
