1934.03.20 It was resolved to appoint Miss K.R. Matheson as Librarian on the following terms: three months probation from 1st April at a salary of £150 per annum; the position then to be reviewed, and if satisfactory, an engagement to the end of the year 1934 at not less than the said rate. After that the continuation of the engagement to be again considered keeping in view the financial position of the Institute at that time and as far as can be foreseen then. The duties besides those connected with the Library, to include sub-editing Man and the Journal under their respective Editors
1934.06.19 The Librarian re-engaged from 1st July to the end of the year at £180 per annum
1945.05.15 It was resolved to offer to Miss K.R. Matheson the post of Librarian on a temporary basis, half-time at a salary of £130 a year, the engagement to be for 3 months and thereafter monthly. It reported that Miss Matheson would probably be able to commence work in August
1945.11.20 It was resolved that Miss Matheson be offered the appointment of Librarian on a substantive basis at a salary of £300 p.a. as from Jan. 1 1946 on terms of service to be agreed with the Officers
1946.03.19 the resignation of Miss Matheson was reported, to take effect on Apr. 5th. It was resolved that the Hon. Secretary should approach the Director of the School of Librarianship with a view to a new appointment.
