Captain William Henry Kennedy-Erskine was born on 1 July 1828.1 He was the son of Hon. John Kennedy-Erskine and Lady Augusta Fitz-Clarence.1 He married Catherine Jones, daughter of William Jones, on 18 November 1862.1 He died on 15 September 1870 at age 42.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 17th Lancers.1
