1942.10.27 Applications for abatement of subscriptions. The lettrs from the Revd. E.P.Y. Simpson and Mr A.J. Wightman were read: the Council rejected their applications, reaffirming the decision of Apr. 23 1940, that membership of Fellows unable to pay their subscriptions must lapse but that the entrance fees might be remitted at the Council’s discretion in the case of any wishing to resume their Fellowship.
