1864.03.15: In reply to Mr Ward’s communication it was resolved, that he be informed that, in accordance with Rule 17, the Council have no power to act otherwise than as Rule in question specifies, but they venture to express a hope that Mr Ward will reconsider his withdrawal from the Society (moved by Mr Bendyshe, seconded by Mr Witt)
