1917.10.09 Letters were read from Major Griggs, 2nd Lieut. W. Lyttle and Mr A.M. Gunnell expressing their wish to become Fellows & stating their inability to find a proposer among the Fellows of the Institute. It was resolved that Major Griggs and Mr Gunnell be invited to call on the President, and that President kindly offered to make enquiries with reference to 2nd Lt. Lyttle

1935 – 1938: During these years, Kings Court was a girls school named ‘Kings Court College’ with A. Mortimer Gunnel as Principal. On the 20th of July of the year 1938, the girls school was sold at an auction for £2,300. [King's Court]
