Brother Robert Nasmyth of Edinburgh.<br />He rendered professional aid to his Royal Highness, Prince Albert. Queen Victoria appointed him her own Surgeon-Dentist - took care of the royal children's teeth.<br />Prostrated by an attack of apoplexy, attended by Sir James Clarke, Her Majesty's Physician. Lived for two more years in an enfeebled state. Went to Malvern. Died 3 Aug. 1849 in 60th year of his age
